An hour for children under seven, up to ninety minutes from seven upwards. Batches are ten to fifteen children, small on purpose, so that every child talks.

What happens in a class
There is no lecture. A class opens with a question, a map, a jar of sand or an argument about whether zero really counts as a number, and the children go after it: stories, games, activities and discussion across fifteen topic areas, from space and the human body to India, the wider world, and the people who changed things.
